Do I need an architect?

As a vertically integrated company, Black Olive Construction implement complete design solutions to support our building activities. This includes any architectural design, structural, mechanical and engineering, interior and landscaping design and specifications required to make the concepts into reality.
Will I need planning permission for a property extension?
Most building extensions come under ‘permitted development rights’, meaning no planning consent is needed provided that certain criteria are met. However, it is always advisable to check with the local planning authority and get written confirmation. There are exceptions for listed buildings, leasehold properties and Conservation Areas where planning permission must be obtained.
